Red celluloid token. Color variety not listed in Nevada Token Book, 1990. In 1907, it was reported that owner Charles H. Keidel had died. It was then owned by Highley & Elliott, who sold it in 1908 to Charles R. Evans, a mining and business man from Manhattan, for $25,000. Evans liked to show-off to Goldfield citizens a gold nugget from Manhattan that was the size of a deck of cards.
