According to the Mining American Vo. 49 (1904), the company operated the Last Chance mine, five claims at Suckerville, one mile from Whitehorn. The superintendent was Lyman Covey. They reached 165 foot depth and encountered lead sulphide ore at a depth of 100 ft. Some high-grade ore has been found which was 40% lead, 25 ounces silver, and $10 gold.
