The Copper Handbook, A Manual of the Copper Industry of the United States and Foreign Countries. Volume II, by Horace Stevens, Houghton, Michigan. The second edition of this classic mining reference book. Hard cover bound in green cloth with gold gilt lettering. 416 pp. including index plus 76 pages of ads in the back. This is an especially great resource for the Michigan copper mining stock collector. This volume has a 193 page section devoted specially to the Lake Superior copper mines. 68 additional pages devoted to other American Copper Mines. Some wear and bumps to covers. Black book binding tape holds in first two pages in front. Browning to perimeter of pages doesn't affect the great information within. The Copper and Mines Handbooks are our go-to reference to look up mining stocks and the most likely place to find information. Lists the mines, districts, company officers, states of incorporation and ores and equipment each company was using. The editors also usually gave their own critique about the company and it's prospects. City: State: New York Date: ID# 37971
