Inc. in Colorado. No. 36, issued for 100 shares to Jewell & Sons on February 10th, 1883. Signed by William A.H. Loveland as president and Perky as secretary. Pen cancel, but not through signatures! Green border and vignette of circular railway, Denver, and the snow-capped Rocky Mountains. William Loveland was an important railroad figure in Colorado's early history. He was one of the founders of Colorado Central Railroad, aided in securing the funds for the formation of the School of Mines, served as Golden's mayor, and is the namesake for the town of Loveland created along the railroad connecting Denver and Cheyenne.
