Number 119 for 1 share ($100 each share) to T. C. Heury. Signed by Charles McIntosh (ornate signature) and W. Loveland. Vignette of two trains leaving a city - quite unique! William H. Loveland was a Colorado pioneer and entrepreneur. He started the Circle Railroad in 1881. This narrow-gauge, coal-fired, steam-powered railroad was known as “the rowdiest railroad of any kind in the Denver area.” Designed as a combination beltway railroad and a rapid transit, it was to encircle the metropolitan city.
