Local W-B Sept. 16th 1915 - November 14th, 1915 hand-written on cover. Waybills routing to Omaha, NE; Denver, CO; Greeley, CO; Milner, CO; and Craig, CO. The Denver and Salt Lake Railroad was formed in 1913 after the Denver, Northwestern and Pacific Railway was put into receivership in 1912. The DNW&P was originally established by David H. Moffat and associates after Denver was bypassed by the Union Pacific and Denver Rio Grande Western Railroads. Waybills move with a shipment showing its consignor, consignee, origin and destination, description of goods including their weight and freight. Prepared by the shipping company for its internal record and control. Letterpress book, hardcover, about 100 pages with up to 6 entries per page, measures 16" x 19".
