Cert. #28, issued to Benj Walker for 100 shares, 10% of the authorized shares, at St.Louis, Mo. In 1889. The co. was incorporated in Missouri. The company had a very small capitalization of only $10,000, with shares at $1 each. Signed by Porter White as president and Geo McGann as secretary. Mine located in Clear Creek Co., Colorado printed on the masthead. Unusual vignette of a row of Indian tee-pees in a mountain scene. The name of the company below highlighted in gold gilt with an extremely bright gold seal. With the small float and low certificate number, this one is extremely rare. Two small pinholes near left border. VF. Unc.
