Cert. #66, issued to Egbert Guernsey for 100 shares at New York in 1881. Incorporated in New York. Signed by Geo. S. Terry as president and R.M. Morgan as secretary. Egbert Guernsey was treasurer of the company. The company owned the Imperial Bower lode, 1500 x 300 feet, situated in the Park district, about three miles from Eureka, The vein was a fissure about seven feet wide (Corregan & Lingane, 1883). Attractive certificate shows a group of miners working underground with their headlamps lighting the way and a candle mounted on the wall. Ore bucket in the center. W.E. Badeau, N.Y., printer. EF.
