Five vignettes: Colorado seal (lower left), Pennsylvania seal (lower right), miner underground (top left), two men cutting logs (top right), and miners at surface (top center). Printed by Breuker & Kessler, Phil. Folds, very fine. 8.75 x 11.5" Iowa Gulch is located south of California Gulch and about 3 miles south of the town. It was named by a party of prospectors who staked claims there in 1860. They organized the Adams Mining District, which was never a big producer compared to other areas around Leadville.
