No. 150, issued for 15,000 shares to the company secretary, Joseph Welch on Dec. 27, 1883. Signed by Welch and the company president, Sharpe. Not cancelled. Vignette of stacked bullion bars (left). Rest of certificate is very ornate with a shiny background. 7.5 x 11" Folds, very fine. According to 1885 Report of the Mint, the Madeline was worked with good results in the summer with two men constantly employed and ore shipped.
