Author's edition, "The Geology and Ore Chutes of Iron Hill" by A. a. Blow, M. E., published by News Printing company, Denver, CO. Original copy, cover has been archivally repaired, rebound for protection in archival cardboard cover (9" x 6") 37 pp., with nice vellum fold-out map. This is a report is from a paper read before the American Institute of Mining Engineers, Colorado Meeting , 1889. Blow writes: Of the seven district mining localities, or groups on mines, the central one, Iron Hill, is the one of greatest importance and interest. It was the scene of the earliest discovery of carbonates, as far back as 1875, and since that time has always maintained its position as a steady and heavy producer of gold, silver and lead-ores...."
