Extra rare. Inc. in Colorado. No. 367, issued for 100 shares to R.E. Hanson on Feb 23, 1907. Signed by E.A. Colburn (president) and D.C. Naugh (acting secretary). Not cancelled. Gorgeous design with large mountain sunset vignette and tan underprint. Staple hole, folds, very fine. The company owned Rex No. 1-5 comprising about 50 acres on the hills surrounding the Wonder District and adjacent to the Jack Pot group. Four veins on the property run into the Jack Pot group. The general manager was N.A. D'Arcy and the Superintendent was O'Brien. As of 1908, surface assays on Rex No. 2 were $4.40 gold and $11.83 silver. A shaft was developed on No. 2 and followed the vein to 70 feet. More promising assays were found on the Grand View Ledge.
