Volume 1, Number 1 (Jan. 2, 1808) to Number 54 (Jan. 6, 1809). "Containing original essays on various subjects connected with general and local policy, and with the arts; the laws of the first session of the tenth congress of the United States, and other public documents." Complete with an index. Established by Richard Dinmore. The paper was devoted to "Political Economy." A great historical reference to the early years of the United States of America! Only references we could find to this newspaper were in the early 1900's. Front cover is hanging on by a thread - as they say. Needs rebinding. (Fulton Collection)
