The Roosevelt Bas-Relief by James Earle Fraser, copyright 1920. 11 x 14" with the inscription "Aggressive fighting for the right is the noblest sport the world affords." Produced by the Decorative Arts League, 175 Fifth Avenue, New York. One of the most famous artists of the early 20th century, Fraser was known for designing the Indian Head nickel, and sculpting "The End of the Trail" for the Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco 1915.
