These are reproduced negatives from what appears to be a collection of photos once belonging to the Joachim von Ribbontrop family. Ribbontrop was Adolf Hitler's foreign minister and engineered the looting of Jewish art and other valuables during WWII. He was tried in the Nuremburg Trials, found guilty of several more war crimes and executed in 1945. These negatives show posed as well as candid shots, more than likely shot by Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffman, of the German dictator with other leaders like Franco of Spain, Mussolini of Italy, Stalin & Molotov of Russia, as well as Hitler underlings Ribbontrop, Goring, Hess and Alfred Rosenberg. Photos show the Fuhrer giving speeches and even touring a Volkswagen factory. There is a date stamp on each negative holder of March or May, 1962, which could indicate the date they were released from the National Archives. While interesting and informative, these photo negatives show a very bleak time in world history. A time we can't repeat. Please see photos for more details. Germany
