Major letter press book archive of Thomas Couch, mining man, businessman 1843-1902. Six, 500pp letterpress books from Thomas Couch and one from his son, T. Couch Jr, plus a scrapbook of Couch's with an original mounted portrait photograph. One of the founders of the Boston & Montana Copper and Silver MC. Couch purchased large ranches, which he loved. He was an exceptionally influential Montana businessman. Many papers at the University of Montana today.
