Nice trio. 1) Original (1st) of Exchange issued May 13th, 1868 to Connecticut Mutual Life Ins. Co. for $907.89 in U.S. Gold Coin. 2 Cent IR stamp with tied cancel. Toning, chipped edges. 2) 1860s unissued Second of Exchange. Reverse has pencil notations. Some staining. 3) Third of Exchange issued Oct. 18th, 1876 for 214 4/9 pounds sterling to William Thwaites. Blue 2 cent IR stamp at upper right. Rarest of the three.
