Lot of 3 different. 1) Memorandum of Gold Bullion Deposited at the Branch Mint of the United States at San Francisco. Sept. 20th, 1867. Deposit by William Bolte. 36.8 ounces, .880 gold fineness. Bottom left has notation for CC Bush & Co. of Shasta, California, who ran the Shasta County Bank at Redding. So Bush was taking in gold deposits from Northern California miners and then sending to the mint at SF. Signed by treasurer of mint. Red print. 4 x 10.75" 2) San Francisco Assaying & Refining Works memorandum of bullion. 1869 deposit by Kruse & Euler (Shasta merchants). 54.82 ounces, .892 gold fineness, $963.62. Notation at bottom left for CC Bush & Co., Shasta County bankers. Vignette of assay office at 416 Montgomery St.. Lith Britton & Rey. 5.25 x 12" The firm of Kellogg, Hewston & Co. sold out and became the San Francisco Assaying and refining Works located at the same address 416 Montgomery St. on 4-29-1866, listing Louis A. Garnett, manager and John Hewston, Jr., Supt and Assayer on the top left of the form. 3) Thomas Price's Assay Office and Chemical Laboratory. 1878. Deposit of sulpherets by HG Welmore containing gold and silver. Welmore had mining interests in Tuolumne County. 5 x 9.5"
