Lot of 3. 1) The first is an RPPC of an interior gaming scene in The Northern Club. Card was mailed in 1932. The writer has written in marker on the front and appears to be pointing themselves out in the picture! The card has minor soiling on reverse and light fading. See photos for detailed condition. The Northern, opened in 1931, was one of the first casinos in Nevada licensed for gaming. Run by Felix Turillas Sr. and John Etchebarren in the ground floor of the Commercial Hotel on Center Street, the building was eventually purchased by Harrah's in the 1950s. Poker games ran 24 hours a day. 2) Two RPPCs of Club Fortune interior depicting bingo. Card caption reads: "Tango Room Club Fortune Reno Nev." Both unused. One has damage from tape on reverse. See photos for detailed condition. Club Fortune operated from 1937-1947 and was thought to be the finest club in Reno. Cal-Neva took over the location.
