1) Marietta and North Georgia Railway Company stock. 1887. $1,000. Sold in England. English one pound and English one shilling imprinted. Number 643. Coupons 9 through 100 still attached. Vignette of train at station. Very nice condition. 2) Unused Oconee & Western Railroad Company. c189-. Punch cancelled. The Oconee & Western was organized in 1892 as successor to the Empire & Dublin Railroad which had constructed a 40-mile rail line from Dublin to Hawkinsville in 1889-90. 3) Unused Dublin and Southwestern Railroad. This company was only in existence from 1904 to 1907. Number 325. Interesting pictorial gold seal. Excellent condition. The Dublin & Southwestern was chartered in 1904 to build a railroad from Dublin southwest to Eastman and Abbeville. The road was completed to Eastman in mid-1905; it was never extended beyond that point. In 1907 the line was acquired by the Wrightsville and Tennille Railroad.
