Tiffany Desk Set piece in Adam pattern is a classical design, unlike many other patterns popular at the time in Art Nouveau. Also known as "Adams pattern" Made with gold or brass finishes, some with painted highlights. (Ref: Tiffany Desk Sets by William R. Holland, 2008)
#1781 Utility box, Oval, 4 x 3.5 x 1.75, gold finish with polychrome colored highlights, slightly faded, perfect, plush, dark pink velvet lining, R-1. A nice heavy box with intricate detail, a nice patina and colors still visible.

Fantasy "Tiffany Studios" Lion Paperweight - COUNTERFEIT / COLLECTIBLE REPRODUCTION. This rough, cast bronze Lion paperweight measures approximately 2.25 x 1.75 x 1" and is marked on the bottom of the base "TIFFANY STUDIOS / NEW YORK" with larger than standard, raised letters outlined by a box. This mark is cast. No raised mark like it was ever used on authentic Tiffany items. Ironically, there is a still a decent market for fantasy pieces, especially high end collectibles like Tiffany. A fake Tiffany vase and paperweight were appraised in 2013 for $180-$230.
