Group of approximately 45 items, including: two photographs, one measuring 13" x 4 1/2" with "Tonopah, Nev." printed along bottom edge and "Tonopah, Nev. 1903" hand-written in pencil on reverse. Second image is 5" x 4," looking down a busy street with a number of automobiles parked along both sides. Handwritten in pencil on reverse, "Tonopah, Nev." Group of 26 postcards with images of the "Bottle House," Nye County Court House, "Jim Butler's Tent," "The Barrel House," "Bird's Eye View from Mt. Oddie," and "General View of Tonopah." A letter on the "Mizpah Hotel" masthead, dated 1920. Along with picture of hotel and ornate hotel name is printed "If You Don't Find Him At The Mizpah, He Is Not In Town." Banking related items include a check and note transferring stock certificate ownership of Red Top Mining Co. shares from Nye and Ormsby County Bank and a deposit note from the Tonopah Banking Corporation dated 1910. Bills of Sale or advertisements from Lothrop=Davis Co. (General Merchandise), Ed. Wheece & Son (Hay and Grain), Union Drug Store (2, prescription druggists), and Southern Nevada Mercantile. Entertainment pieces include a Butler Theatre Box Office Statement, a ticket to the Nevada Theatre, and a receipt for advertising space bought in the Tonopah Daily Times, dated 1916. Mining-related items include checks from the Nevada Copper Company, Midway Milling Company, and The Tonopah Banking Corporation; a bill of sale from the "Tonapa Miner Publishing Company" marked paid with hole punches; and a letter from the "West End Consolidated Mines Corporation" discussing its financial situationas weel as the situation of the Tonopah Seventy Six Consolidated Mining Co.
