Printed signature of John Ryan as president and general manager. Countersigned by WW Cahill. 2) 1923 pass for Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad / Bullfrog Goldfield Railroad / Death Valley Railroad. Issued to A.R. Anderson, trav. pass. agent for D&RGW. Countersigned by Cahill. Printed sig. of VP. 3) 1930 pass or Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad / Death Valley Railroad. Issued to Harry Isaacs (AT&SF). Same signatures as previous. Stamped cancelled. The "Nevada Short Line" operated between Ludlow, California and Beatty/Tonopah/Goldfield, Nevada. It was originally conceived of by "Borax" Smith as a way to transport borax from his mines to the market. From 1908-1914 (and after 1918), the Bullfrog Goldfield Railroad was combined with the T&T.
