Lot of 9 issued stocks signed by Seth Bullock as president, who was Deadwood's first sheriff. Excellent autograph pieces. Found in the Homestake hoard. Dave Shaddrick notes that this mine encountered a fabulously rich stope that produced 1 million ounces of gold, likely while it was under control by Homestake. In a March 17th 1884 article, The Deadwood Pioneer Times reported that the Tornado Consolidated was made up of the Tornado, Silver Fraction, Big Test Fraction, Daisy Fraction, Little Bird, and the Minnie Lode. These mines, about 50 acres, were on the east side of Terry's Peak between the Nevada and Fantail gulches. Extensive developments were reported. Work at the lower levels had found several fissures of high grade ore.
