Lot of 5 items from the 1898 World's Fair in Omaha that celebrated the development of the whole West, from the Mississippi to the Pacific Coast. 2.6 million people attended from June 1 to November 1, 1898. Includes: 1) A rare program for the Peace & Jubilee Luncheon (with President McKinley attending) incl. a souvenir coin glued to the back, printed on heavy cardstock with flag. Menu included prairie chicken, ice cream, and a toast to the president.7" x 5" with minimal wear. 2) Two souvenir booklets: one published for the Burlington Route with colored photographs, string binding, 5" x 6.75"; and another, similar style but with different colored prints (green) and published by F.A. Reinhart, the official photographer, 5" x 7." 3) Small pamphlet describing the various admission tickets (4.5" x 2.5"). Separated along fold. 4) Souvenir Program for Nebraska Day, Oct. 19, 1898.
