Central Pacific Railroad and Treasure City Wells Fargo Cancels on the same cover. This cover must have started in Treasure City via Wells Fargo Express. Some place (like Elko) the cover reached the Central Pacific Railroad where the 'Cent. Pacific R .R.' stamp was added. There is a handwritten date of 1869. This makes it in the first two years of the transcontinental railroad. Also written on the card is 'sympathy,' The cover is addressed to A. D. Blogett and during 1869 Blogett's two-year old daughter passed away. Extensive detective work notes. Additional pages of research on location, names associated with cover, etc. are included.
