Located in Esmeralda County, this set of six photographs tells the story of Catteudal(?) and the mine where he hit the high grade and afterwards went broke! Three show the mine in the mountainside (two closeups). One shows sacks of ore ready to ship with a man and two children in front of them. One shows a miner (our author?) striking a pick into underground rock. And one shows Lone Mountain from a distance. Most are 2.5 X 3.5". From the personal collection of Hugh Shamberger. Photos identified by Hugh on the front or the back. City: Treasure Hill State: Nevada Date: HWAC# 49957
