Three large fossil plates of crinoids, known as 'sea lilies'. These ancient organisms had a large 'flower' on a long, segmented stem, and were in the same family as modern starfish, sea urchins, and sand dollars. The plates have varying degrees of curation. Plate A is an exceptional example of crinoid stems with partial flowers at the top of several; plate B is partially curated with a large crinoid flower, about 8"x8"; plate C is partially curated + broken and repaired near center, showing long stems and nice flowers. These fossils are 250-450 million years old and originate from China. Plate A is 16"x15"x2", plate B is 10"x18"x2", plate C is 21"x16"x2".
