Interesting California stock we have never encountered. A lease was awarded the Tuna Shark Corporation by the Board of Port Commissioners for 420 square feet of office space in the Clay Street Pier. The company is remodeling a war surplus vessel for tuna and other types of fishing (Oakland Board of Port Commissioners, 1949). The Tuna Shark was owned and skippered by Bernard M. Reaves, president of the Tuna Shark Corporation of San Francisco. A converted submarine chaser, the craft is now equipped as a virtual floating crab processing ship (1952, Pacific Fisherman). The certificate was issued in 1949 for 400 shares and signed by the president, Arthur N. Miller. Uncanceled.
