Approximate weight 3.35 ounces. From No. 8 turquoise mine, located in Eureka county, north of Carlin, Nevada. The historic deposit, first discovered in 1925 and mined in 1929, is famous for producing turquoise with a spider web type matrix in varieties of black to gold brown and colors from dark to light blue, and occasionally green tinted. Very collectible. The mine closed in 1976. You can't find this stuff anymore!
