8 pieces of High-grade, blue to deep blue pieces of Natural Turquoise from the No. 8 Turquoise Mine, located in the Lynn Mining District in northern Eureka County in Nevada. The #8 Mine produced what is often considered some of the highest grade turquoise known. The turquoise in this sale was warehoused for the last 35-40 years and came from one of the most prized turquoise deposits ever found in the world. Very collectible. All of have one or more cut surfaces, some spider web specimens included. Sizes vary - largest piece is approx. 3 x 3.5 x 1.25 inches. Some pieces are treated/stabilized. Nice Variety. Weighs about 1.4 lbs. total.
