Two different reports for this famous Comstock mine, site of the Bonanza Discovery of 1873.1) 1901 report. 29 pages. Report is from the mine superintendent, Jos. R. Ryan and mentions developments at 1650 to 2150 foot levels, repairs to the C&C shaft, and joint work done on the Ophir Shaft. Lists detailed expenses (assay, timber, water, mine clothing, etc.) for the mine including detailed costs of work and supplies at the previous mentioned levels of the mine. Also has statement of yield from all ores worked. Deep vertical fold. Blue cover with staining. 2) 1904 report. 27 pages. Stamped Property of Mackay School of Mines.
