This lot contains two interesting coin banks without keys: one is in the shape of a small book, approximately 3.375x4 inches, with a faux-leather-like cover and a solid brass frame almost an inch thick. The cover is labeled "METALS BANK & TRUST COMPANY BUTTE, MONTANA" and "THE BANK FOR YOU -- SINCE '82." The back cover is labeled "AFFILIATED WITH 1ST BANK STOCK CORPORATION." The second bank is an egg-shaped, silver-colored egg, approximately 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter that stands upright on the wider end which has 1.375-inch diameter brass disk labeled "DALY BANK & TRUST CO. ANACONDA, MONT" around the circumference, and a serial number of 1390. This disk has a 5/16-inch center hole of unknown purpose into the egg. The bank opens into two pieces along its diameter with a key (not supplied) inserted into the top portion of the egg on the opposite side of the 1.25-inch-long coin slot.
