1) "The Tomkins-Cristy Hdwe Co., Mine & Mill Supplies, Telluride, Colo." 4 x 1.5". The building is now houses Patagonia Sportswear. Originally built in 1892 for the San Juan Hardware Company, the Tomkins-Cristy Hardware Company came along in 1896. They occupied the building until 1923 or 1924. 2) "Built by the, Traux Mfg. Co., 1722 29 Wazee St., Denver, Colo., 6697". The Pacific Coast Miner of 1903 reported that the Traux Mfg. Co. as busy with orders from Montana, Idaho, Missouri, Dakota and Mexico.
