Lot of 2 different. The CC Mint was on a production hiatus from 1885 to Oct. 1889. Both of these forms were issued earlier in 1889 when no coins were being struck. Silver calculated at $1.16 per ounce ($38 in 2023 money). These would make great companion pieces if you have the 1889 CC Morgan. 1) Purple form. April 27th, 1889. Deposit by Chas. H. Peters (Carson City insurance agent who invested in Comstock mines). One bullion bar, 1,454 ounces, .895 silver fineness, $2,508.49. Signed by WG Thompson for Supt. 5.5 x 11" 2) Black print. Aug. 6th, 1889 deposit by Peters again, on a/c of the Bullion & Exchange Bank. One bar, 1458 ounces, .914 silver fineness, $2,486.56. Signed by LL Elrod for Supt. 6 x 11.5"
