Lot of 2 different. 1) The Uintah Railway Company. Pass no. A133 issued for 1934-35 to JR Staley, Missouri Pacific RR. Signed by the general manager W Nadin. Endorsed by Staley. Black and red print on white paper. Operated 1904-1939. This mining railroad, a subsidiary of the Gilson Asphaltum Company, operated from Mack, Colorado to Atchee, CO to Wendella, CO to the Black Dragon Mine just west of the Utah border. This mine had a vein of Gilsonite exposed across the ground surface for a distance of 4 miles. 2) Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway. Issued 1935-36 to FE Pennington. Countersigned by MW Bogart and endorsed. Blue print on light gray paper. Founded by Zalmon G. Simmons in 1889. Eventually sold to Spencer Penrose. The world's highest and longest cog railroad.
