Same design; one is green and one black. 1) Consolidated Lodes Company. Green. Issued in 1895 and has an underground mining vignette. Number 521 for 51,250 shares to William Robertson. Signed by Hopkins and DIckson. 2) Townsite Company. Issued in 1897. Surveyors vignette. Number 679 issued to Dickson. Signed by Hutchings and Dickson. old Creek was the name of an area not far from Bruno City that was the center of a number placer mining operations. Placer mining continued to increase through 1896 and by January 1897 the town’s population was 500 with 300 of that number of mine payrolls. In June of that year problems began to surface that indicated the end of Gold Creek was approaching.
