Nice pair of Comstock documents that both deal with gold bars. 1) Memorandum of Bullion Deposited at the Gold Hill Assay Office by "Washoe Mill Tailings" on Mar. 3, 1889 in Gold Hill. One bar, No. 891, total value $75.85. Signed by W.S. James as assayer. 5.5" x 11" Folds and one small wrinkle/tear on left edge. 2) Consignee's Receipt. Wells, Fargo & Co. Express. Billing Hofer (State of Nevada) 35 cents for transport of bar #964 from Gold Hill, weighing 12 lbs. 3.5" x 8" with folds.
