1) Large, now green, 4 3/4" Denver Motor Club. Double circles. 2) 1923 protective license 4148. "Any person molesting this car will be prosecuted regardless of cost." Denver Motor Club. Metallic. In an article fo"The Automobile, number 30" it was stated that D. M. C. had devised a way to protect the cars of its members from theft. Upon paying your dues, you would receive this tag. The Club would keep all of the information of your car on file. The threat of pursuing thieves at any cost, was considered the chief benefit of its 1,300 members of joining the club.
