International postage and stamp album, 19th century. 9.5x12" 2" thick. Bogert and Derbin. Manuscript inside front cover Thomas Mitchel Philatelist 1908. The album is unpaginated with perhaps 300 pages. Nearly every page has stamps and if we had to guess there's more than 10 per page. Includes regular issues, special issues, revenues, it's difficult to estimate the percentage of mint stamps, maybe 30 percent. All are hinged. The second volume is a Modern Postage album by Scott 1917 with broken binding. A similar description to the prior holds true, though the volume of stamps is much lower. Some of the countries with few stamps in the first group gave a dozen or more in the second group. Again thousands of stamps easily worth detailed scrutiny.
