The first one state of Massachusetts Bay, number 30, dated December 1, 1777 issued to Samuel Boyden for 24 pounds. 6% per annum bond signed by the New York Treas. (illegible) and P Boyer. Early tape repairs to the rear. Classic Massachusetts pine tree vignette at upper left. 2) The second piece is also a state of Massachusetts Bay certificate of the same nature, number 743 issued June 1, 1779 for 15 pounds. At the right of this certificate which is a different printing than the prior even though it looks very similar it says Massachusetts state lottery, class the third nothing written on reverse. Rare.
