Two Gaming Broadsides, c 1935. Mason & Co. Roulette Pay Card Broadside. Circa 1935. 19.5 x 25” “We furnish complete equipment for clubs, casinos, etc.”. Mason & Co. was the largest gaming equipment supplier in the US, except for slot machines. They controlled the card, dice, and other game equipment business. Recent work by Howard Herz has unveiled a massive Mason & Co. archive now at the Nevada historical Society that shows an unprecedented level of manufactured cheating equipment as well as regular legitimate goods. This is a rare gaming broadside. The second is a pair of Hunt & Co. (Chicago) dice game parlor broadsides, each 10 x 13”. (chips).
