Identical oval celluloid stick pins. Feature vignette of Lincoln with American flag and the text "Lincoln Legion." Approx. 3/4" x 1/2" on 2" pin. The Lincoln-Lee Legion was an anti-drinking organization formed in 1903 by Howard Hyde Russell. He specifically targeted children, trying to get them to pledge abstinence from alcohol for life. "Lee" was added to the name to appeal to Southern parents and children. Both pins show toning/soiling, one more than the other.
