Two different photographs stamped "H.B. Cockrill, Foto, Bartlett Springs." One shows a large group of well-dressed people standing around a spring. The other is a shot of the resort from the top of an adjacent hill. Nice contrast on each. 4.5 x 6.5" photos on 8 x 10" mounts. Wear to boards, but photos are in very good condition. Bartlett Springs, located in Lake County, was founded in the 1860s by Green Bartlett. He claimed its mineral water could cure rheumatism. (Fred Holabird Collection)
