1) Wilson Butler. Blacksmith, horse shoer and wagon maker. He were also located in Aurora, Nevada. Wilson was the son of Dan Butler and a pioneer of the Bodie area. He came to Bodie in 1864 and was the town's first blacksmith. "On one occasion, Butler's blacksmith shop was used as the site for a hanging for a man who killed another over a woman."
