1) Union State Ticket advertising Frederick F. Low for governor (of California). Nice color illustration of soldier and flag. Lower on the paper it lists Union candidates for San Joaquin County. Low ended up being elected governor of California and served 1863-67, becoming California's last Civil War Era governor. During his administration, Yosemite National Park and the University of California were established. 12.5" x 2.5" with pinholes and rough edges. 2) Ribbon for Founders' Day, October 27, 1912 for The Progressive Party. Moose kneeling with crisscrossed American flags. 6" x 2" with stain lower left. City: State: California, Date: 1863 & 1912 Inventory# 39001
