1) The Bottle House, Rhyolite, Nevada. Stamp on back--Stove Pipe Wells Hotel, Death Valley, Calif. 2) John S. Cook & Co.'s Bank Rhyolite, Nev. Written on back: "The finest Bank Building in Southern Nevada cost $96,000 to build-in 1905-modern to the last detail-marble stairways-Italian marble-stain glass-stairway windows from Italy. Building 4 stories-solid mahogany baseboards-in all rooms-the building on the right-cut stone and brick. The many magnificent building of Rhyolite, Nevada would have stood a thousand years--they were torn down-and carried away- by exploiters- no one paid anything for them. Gold did not give out. There are millions in the hills here now." (Prag Collection) City: Rhyolite State: Nevada Date: ID# 44622
