Greeley was named in honor of Horace Greeley who had come to Colorado in the 1859 Pike's Peak Gold Rush. Greeley was editor of the New York Tribune and a prominent booster of western settlement in the mid-nineteenth century.

1. E. GILBREATH, purple 6 5/8 inches tall. According to Preble, c. 1900-03. White residue around the bottle. Nicks and signs of wear on the base. Nicks and spotting around the lip. Imperfections in the glass at the neck. Star imprinted on the base. Reverse base has an unusual imperfection that has a splash of iridescence
2. CHAS. SEIER, clear 6 3/4 inches tall. Dates c. 1898-1900 according to Preble. Base has imperfections within the glass which includes a nick and spot with iridescence. Light haze in clarity with pinprick bubbling. Nicks at lip. Signs of residue within.
