1) 1905 typed report from W.A. Stanton, mining engineer, regarding the claims on Montgomery Mountain. 4 pages, signed by Stanton. Describes work at the Shoshone Mine, Peery Montgomery Mountain Co., the Amethyst Mine, the workings of the Bull Frog National Bank Company, the Gold Bar Mining Company, and Hill Top Mining Company. He boldly declares that the Bull Frog Mining District is "undoubtedly the richest gold camp for its age ever discovered in the history of mining." At the end of the report are two blueprint style cross-sections: looking N/S (6" x 9.5") and looking E/W (8.5" x 11.5"). Folds and some toning. 2) 1907 report from the Montgomery Shoshone Consolidated Mining Company. 15 pages with map. Lists twelve claims owned by the company, as well as ranch land and the Bullfrog Townsite Water & Ice Company. Mentions that The Las Vegas & Tonopah Railroad will hopefully reach their mines within 30 days, and the Goldfield & Bullfrog Railroad in 40 days, allowing for the shipment of dump ores. Most of the work has been development, leading to a considerable quantity of dump ore. Two maps at the end: map showing claims (5.25" x 10") and color map showing underground workings (6" x 9"). Very good condition. City: Bullfrog State: Nevada Date: 1905 & 1907 ID# 34830
