Lot of 2. Very rare RPPCs of interior gaming scenes at Owl Club. 1) View of group standing around a roulette table. Definitely 1930s fashion! Caption reads: "Owl Club, Reno Nev." Card was mailed in 1932. Writer mentions eating lunch in Reno after passing through Virginia City, an "old mining town." 2) Combination view of two interior scenes. Smaller is the same photograph as previous card. Larger view is of crowded casino floor. Unused. Owl Club was located at 142 E. Commercial Row. It received the first gambling license issued in Reno in 1931. It operated from 1931-1938. Scarce cards. City: Reno State: Nevada Date: 1930s hwac# 19013
